
Beth Shuster
Beth Shuster is the director of public communications in the Office of the Provost. She came to the university after a decade as the education editor of the Los Angeles Times, where she led a team of eight reporters covering K-12 and higher education. Beth also was a reporter at the Times where she had a range of assignments, including education, City Hall and the Los Angeles Police Department. She was the lead reporter on the North Hollywood bank robbery that won a Pulitzer Prize and she has numerous education and other awards.
