USC esports stars take on Bruins in online gaming battle
When crosstown rivals face off, the on-screen competition is as heated as anything you’ll see on the football field.

Not all of the competition of Conquest week takes place on the football field. USC’s varsity and JV esports squads took on their UCLA counterparts in a series of spirited matches Thursday, including one on the main stage of the Conquest rally. Teams competed in League of Legends, Hearthstone, Overwatch and Super Smash Bros. To see how the teams did (hint: USC won most everything), visit the USC Esports Union Instagram page.
