Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Tracy Oliver take center stage at USC film school commencement

Academy Award-winning filmmakers Grazer and Howard will deliver the school’s commencement address, and Oliver — writer, producer and director of films including Girls Trip and Little — will receive the Mary Pickford Alumni Award.

Actor, producer and television personality Brady and playwright, screenwriter and producer Shekar will speak during two commencement ceremonies on May 12.

Kevin Feige, producer and president of Marvel Studios, named USC’s 2023 commencement speaker

The USC alumnus — the creative force behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe — earned a Best Picture Oscar nomination in 2019 for producing Black Panther, the first superhero film nominated in that category.
