Trojans help future Trojans through Swim With Mike
It's $15 million raised, and counting, for scholarships for challenged athletes at USC.
The 34th annual Swim With Mike event was a big success at USC, raising more than $1 million on April 5 at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
The day concluded with a swim relay featuring members of the Trojan football team and the USC Song Girls. Quarterback Max Browne led his team to a come-from-behind victory.
Provost Elizabeth Garrett did her part as well, taking a few laps after the relay and raising more than $10,000 for the cause.
Swim With Mike has accrued more than $15 million for the Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund, which helps students who have had serious accidents or illnesses attend college.
