USC Price real estate program receives support
The BH Properties gift will provide students with scholarship funds and professional development opportunities

The USC Price School of Public Policy has received a $500,000 gift from BH Properties to support the school’s new Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Development degree.
“We are exceptionally grateful for BH Properties’ support,” said Dean Jack H. Knott. “This gift will help ensure that this program becomes a national leader in real estate education, providing students with a curriculum that is both academically challenging and relevant to the industry.”
The program trains students on the fundamentals of real estate as well as current issues in development, finance and market analysis.
Launched this fall with an initial cohort of 80 students, the program is expected to annually accept up to 250.
BH Properties has been recognized for its leadership in the ownership, management and repositioning of underperforming office, industrial, retail and multifamily properties.
The Campaign for the University of Southern California is a multiyear effort that seeks to raise $6 billion or more in private philanthropy to advance USC’s academic priorities and expand its positive impact on the community and world. Four years after its launch, the campaign has raised more than $4.6 billion.
