If you’re looking for a good place to spend the Fourth of July, look no further than USC (well, OK, across the street).

The annual Fourth of July Extravaganza will be held on the south lawn outside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to mark the holiday. The event, from noon to 10 p.m., will feature food, games, rides and exhibits, as well as musical performances. The day will conclude with the traditional fireworks show, starting at about 9 p.m.

Admnission is free; parking in Exposition Park is $10.

The Coliseum is jointly owned by the state of California, Los Angeles County and the city of Los Angeles and is managed and operated by USC. It’s the only stadium in the world to have hosted two Olympic Games, multiple Super Bowls and the World Series.
