With Jerry Brown ordering California’s first 25 percent mandatory water reductions, you may have questions for the governor. Here’s your chance to get answers.
On June 9, USC will host “Water in the West,” a conversation on about the drought between Brown and Austin Beutner, publisher of the Los Angeles Times and The San Diego Union-Tribune. USC President C. L. Max Nikias will start the discussion, part of the Times’ new event series, The California Conversation.
The Times is collecting reader questions for use during the program. You can submit yours online at the Times website.
The event will be live streamed at latimes.com and KCET.org; it will also be featured in a special episode of SoCal Connected airing at 8 p.m. June 10 (with rebroadcasts at 7 p.m. June 12 and 6 p.m. June 14) and nationally at 8 p.m. June 11 on Link TV.
