Participants danced for charity for 12 hours

They danced into the wee hours, but it was for a good cause: This year’s Trojan Dance Marathon raised $54,600 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The dancers started at 2 p.m. Feb. 21 and kept going for 12 hours. The event was held in the ballroom at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center.
Since Trojan Dance Marathon began in 2008, more than $260,000 has been raised for Children’s Hospital. Nationwide, more than 250 universities and high schools host dance marathons for their local children’s hospital; last year more than $15.6 million was raised.
