#IAmUnbroken: Videos showcase Trojans who share Louis Zamperini’s perseverance
Cynthia Cooper-Dyke grew up in a tough LA neighborhood, but went on to greatness as a basketball player and now USC’s women’s head coach
In conjunction with the Christmas release of the feature film Unbroken, USC is honoring iconic war hero Louis Zamperini, the Trojan whose incredible story inspired the movie. The film follows Zamperini’s life as a track standout, Olympic hero and World War II prisoner of war.
Other members of the Trojan Family who have overcome tremendous challenges are featured in the #IAmUnbroken series, a collection of videos on the website IAmUnbroken.com.
Today we highlight the story USC women’s basketball head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, who saw past the bad influences in the tough LA neighborhood where she grew up to become a champion ballplayer and more.
