Keck School triathlete braves the waters — and roads — in Malibu
Seventy-two years of age are no barrier for neurology faculty member

Many USC faculty and staff compete in charity events, but Sarah Ingersoll may have distinguished herself through her zest for life. Ingersoll, clinical assistant professor of neurology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, competed in the 2014 Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sept. 14 at age 72. She finished first in her age group, noting (with some humor) that she also was the only one in it. The triathlon raised more than $1.35 million for USC-affiliated Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
