LACMA highlights the artful significance of soccer

World Cup fever? A LACMA exhibition showcases more than 30 artistic explorations of the global game

The USC Center for Public Diplomacy at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism recently spoke with Michael Govan, director at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, about the exhibition Fútbol: The Beautiful Game, which runs until July 20. Celebrating the sport during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the show examines soccer and its significance in societies around the world.
