USC and UCLA Square Off in ‘Marketing Bowl’

MBA students from USC’s Marshall School of Business and UCLA’s Anderson School of Management go head-to-head to test their knowledge of marketing theory and application on Thursday, Nov. 16.

The “Marketing Bowl,” organized by the Southern California chapter of the American Marketing Association, has been set up as a fast-paced quiz. The varsity scholars will tackle crafty questions designed by marketing professors from USC, UCLA and Pepperdine University. The evening’s quiz-master will be Ed Sugar, Triton Technology’s senior vice president of sales and marketing and a past president of AMA’s Southern California chapter.

A $500 scholarship will be awarded to the victorious school.

The evening schedule, in the “Academy Room” of the Holly wood Roosevelt Hotel, 7000 Holly wood Blvd., Hollywood: Registration and networking to begin at 5:30 p.m.; a “tailgate party” buffet, at 6:30 p.m.; presentation and questions, at 7:30 p.m.
