USC’s Honorary Degrees Committee is calling for names of individuals to be considered for an honorary degree at future commencements.
“The committee looks forward to nominations from the Trojan Family,” said J. Lawford Anderson, committee chair. “The committee is particularly interested in a diverse set of candidates.”
This degree honors those who distinguish themselves through extraordinary achievements in scholarship, the professions or other creative activities; honors alumni and others who have made outstanding contributions to USC or their communities; recognizes exceptional acts of philanthropy to USC; and those who are widely known and highly regarded for achievements in their respective fields of endeavor.
