USC President Carol L. Folt will deliver her annual State of the University addresses on April 14 and April 20.

The speeches are an opportunity for the president to highlight accomplishments by students, faculty and staff members during the last year. They also are a chance to lay out objectives for the future and underscore developments in the university’s priority areas, including topics such as sustainability; diversity, equity and inclusion; college affordability and accessibility; and groundbreaking research.

Two different addresses to faculty and staff members will be presented:

    • University Park Campus: 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, in Bovard Auditorium.
    • Health Sciences Campus: 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, on Broad Lawn. This address is expected to highlight topics of special interest to those affiliated with the medical school and the medical enterprise and others involved in the health sciences.

These will be the first in-person State of the University addresses for Folt, who came to USC in July 2019. The addresses in April 2020 and April 2021 were virtual events due to the pandemic.

Faculty and staff should RSVP by Thursday, April 7 (code: address). The speeches will be available via livestream for those who are unable to attend in person.
