Campuses come to life as Trojans return on USC Move-in Day

Families and friends help students get settled before classes begin next week; it’s a day for shuttling boxes, snapping selfies and saying bittersweet goodbyes

The Trojan Family was on the move Wednesday, as the official USC Move-in Day saw thousands of students moving into university housing. Interim USC President Wanda M. Austin and her husband, Wade Austin, joined in the USC Move-in Day excitement, greeting students and families amid the moving-day madness. USC Welcome Week includes a series of special events, including Thursday’s new student convocation ceremony, before the start of classes Monday.
