The arts come alive at two showcases for USC Roski students

For those seeking colorful drawings, paintings, pictures and sculptures, this was the place to be

Two shows featuring the innovative projects of students from the USC Roski School of Art and Design took place this week.

The undergraduate Open Studios show held on Dec. 6 presented work focusing on sculpture, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, printmaking, 3-D design and typography, among other art forms.

The school’s annual MFA Open Studios on Dec. 8 offered insight into the work of Master of Fine Arts students Robert Karimi, Chris Michael, Julia Orquera Bianco, Joshua Rains, Marton Robinson, Assaf Shaham and Chad Sines.
