Four outstanding community volunteers – Juanita Judice, Rose Thierry, Aurora Becerra and Orion Opinaldo – were honored with 1997 USC Family of Five Schools Community Excellence Awards at a Dec. 3 holiday reception hosted by USC Civic and Community Relations. The awards, sponsored by the Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division and Civic and Community Relations, were presented by officers of the LAPD Southwest Division.
