At the 10th annual 2×8:Taut student architectural competition last month, the Los Angeles chapter of the American Institute of Architects recognized two USC School of Architecture students for their work.
USC graduate student Anirudh Dhawan was awarded a prize for her project titled “[Re]cursive Redundancies” and undergraduate Alexandre Salice was recognized for “Image of the City: A Spectacle for the Pedestrian” at an event held at the Architecture and Design Museum on Wilshire Boulevard.
Dhawan’s scholarship prize was provided by LEO A DALY, Pfeiffer Partners Architects and TMAD Taylor & Gaines Engineers. Salice’s scholarship was provided by Johnson Favaro, KGM Architectural Lighting and KPFF Consulting Engineers.
