USC and São Paulo call for research proposals
USC and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) announced their first call for proposals under a recently signed agreement.
USC, which sent a delegation to São Paulo last year, signed a research exchange agreement with FAPESP, encouraging research efforts and exchanges for the next couple of years.
The exchange invites participation from faculty at USC and researchers affiliated with higher education and research institutions in the State of São Paulo to submit research proposals for the exchange of researchers between the State of São Paulo and USC in the following areas: regular research awards, thematic projects, young investigators, research, and innovation and dissemination centers.
The 2012 deadline for submitting proposals are June 29 and Oct. 31. The 2013 deadline is June 28.
