Krisztina Holly Talks at Tech Transfer Forum

The National Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer heard from Krisztina Holly, USC vice provost and executive director of the USC Stevens Institute, at a Washington, D.C. gathering titled “Venture Capitalists Deans Summit” in late July.

Her presentation described the different motivators for venture capitalists and academics, and suggested how to better align the two groups to effectively advance ideas to the marketplace.

After the event, Holly said, “The room was buzzing about the robust and growing investment market in Southern California these days.”

She said that conference participants also were talking about “how USC can contribute to the start-up culture in L.A. through community building, new educational programs and more streamlined intellectual property management.”
