Insightful stories help USC Athletics mark Black History Month

Special website celebrates Trojan role models and their stories. In the latest entry, Steven Mitchell Jr. discusses the importance of his football family — and his fraternity.

As the country recognizes Black History Month in February, USC Athletics is celebrating and documenting its proud African-American heritage by adding more stories to its website, uscbhm.com, about iconic Trojans who serve as role models for the university and the African-American community.

In the latest entry, USC wide receiver Steven Mitchell Jr. takes us on his journey to becoming a football standout — and the important role that Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity has played in that journey.
